Hope you’ve had a great week! We made it through yesterday’s dreary weather and it looks like there’s three nice days on the horizon this weekend and lots going on - here’s what’s doin’:
The ADK Film Fest is this weekend! With over 100 films spread across six screens in four venues downtown (The Q, The Park, The Wood, and Crandall Library), there’s literally something for everyone. Grab a pass for one day or the entire weekend here - should be a fun weekend downtown!
Hockey is back! The Thunder play their first home game of the season this Saturday at 7pm, and we are psyched for a great season ahead. On the agenda in Fort Edward this Saturday - Locktoberfest! Farmers, artisans, vendors, food, and a craft beverage tasting tent? Sounds like a pretty perfect Saturday afternoon. What’s more you ask? Live music and plenty of activities for the kiddos. Grab the scoop here.
Have you picked your pumpkins yet? We stopped by The Farm Stand at Tiashoke Farms in Easton a few weeks back and it makes the perfect Sunday drive. They’ve got a pumpkin house (complete with a cornstalk roof!), a huge selection of 50+ varieties of pumpkins and a picturesque setting (you can see photos in this post Bri wrote on her blog The Yellow Note).
